Version 1
Mapier Persona runs short paid surveys over iMessage. This notice says what we collect and why, first for the people who answer surveys and then for the businesses that run them.
Respondent notice at collection
You are reading this because you joined a research panel run by one of our partner agencies and agreed to receive paid survey texts from Mapier. When you take part, we collect:
- your mobile number and first name, from the agency you signed up with;
- the profile the agency shared with your consent, such as your age range, gender and state, so we only invite you to surveys you qualify for;
- your answers, and when you replied;
- the email address your reward is paid to, when you give us one.
We use this to invite you, to run each survey one question at a time, to pay your reward, and to keep out fraud and duplicate answers. The business that ran a survey sees your answers with an anonymous respondent ID. It never receives your number, your name or your email, and it may not try to identify or contact you.
Answers are kept for as long as the business that ran the survey has chosen in its settings, then removed. Your contact details are kept while you remain on the panel and are deleted when you ask us to. We do not sell your personal information.
To stop all survey texts, reply STOP to any of them; you will not be texted again. Reply HELP for how to reach us, or write to support@mapier.ai. You may ask to see or delete what we hold about you at any time.
Buyer privacy notice
When you use the Persona console, we collect:
- your name and work email, and the sign-in method you use;
- your workspace's name, company, receipt email and settings;
- the surveys you build and the results they collect, and your balance and transactions. Card details go to our payment processor and never reach us;
- basic usage events that help us improve the product, with no survey content in them.
We use this to run your workspace, to bill you, to send the emails you choose in Settings, and to keep the service secure. You can export your data or delete your workspace from Settings. How you may use response data is in the Data Use policy.
